English glam-rockers The Darkness have announced an Australian tour in support of their upcoming album, Easter Is Cancelled, hitting Metropolis Fremantle on Wednesday, March 11 next year.
The four piece, led by the larger-than-life frontman Justin Hawkins, have been regular visitors to our shores, touring in support of each of their studio albums to date. On their last visit to WA in 2017, The Darkness were one of the highlights of Groovin the Moo in Bunbury, while they also treated Perth fans to their own headline show at Metro City.
The Darkness’ new album, Easter is Cancelled, is scheduled to be released in early October, and serves as their first since Pinewood Smile in 2017. It features the raucous Rock And Roll Deserves To Die, which the group released earlier this month.
Perth will be the first to enjoy hits like I Believe in a Thing Called Love, Love is Only a Feeling and Holding My Own, being the first stopover on the tour before the band hits Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and New Zealand.
The Darkness play Metropolis Fremantle on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. Tickets are on sale Thursday, August 22 from Oztix.
