Swiss post-rock group hubris. announce first ever Perth show

Switzerland’s most famous post-rock group hubris. have announced their return to Australia this November, touring in support of their new album The One Above. The four-piece will play their first ever Perth show at Rosemount Hotel on Sunday, November 26.

Formed in Fribourg, Switzerland in 2014, hubris. quickly found a worldwide following for their emotive, dynamic and exquisitely crafted instrumental music. Drawing influences from This Will Destroy You, Sigur Ros and Mogwai, they have forged a sound of their own over the course of four studio albums.

Their third and fourth albums Metempsychosis (2020) and The One Above (2023) proved to be the band’s breakthrough records, picking up label support from Belgium’s acclaimed Dunk Records, USA label Post Recordings, Australia’s Art As Catharsis Records and seeing them tour internationally, including shows across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

This will be their biggest ever run of shows in Australia, including performances in Adelaide and Perth for the first time.
