Selfless Orchestra bring immersive musical showcase Terra Nullius: Embodied to The Rechabite

Selfless Orchestra, Boss Arts Creative and choreographer Sarah Francis have joined forces to create a reimagined production of the ensemble’s album Terra Nullius.

Terra Nullius: Embodied is an immersive, physical experience, blending contemporary dance, live orchestral performance and storytelling, and premieres at The Rechabite on Friday, February 20. Featuring First Nations artists Iconyx, DJ Bexx & Abrynz, Della Mob, and many more, it explores the ongoing impacts of colonisation, cultural erasure and the living relationship between people and Country.

Through movement and music, the work expands on the album’s themes, honouring the resilience of Aboriginal communities and the deep knowledge of Elders who continue to tell their stories.
