Mojos is following up a beaut Sunday night of conscious hip hop (Buck 65) with another – a triple shot of TZU’s Joelistics, Mathas and Sietta. Joel Ma’s been a skip hop staple for years, dropping three studio albums with TZU, but he’s firmly established himself as a solo artist with his second album, Blue Volume (described by Rolling Stone as “A celebration and mourning of the current state of the world, voiced by a smart, incisive writer“).
This Halloween weekend, you can expect to hear the full gamut of emotional lyricism, from the heart-wrenching singles Fine In The Morning and Out Of The Blue to genu-wine party starter Say I’m Good, with Perth’s Mathas and Darwin’s soulful Sietta.
