Emerging Perth songwriter and producer Rosel has just launched the video for his debut single Nightfall. The clip was directed by Rakib Erick from Afternoon Films in multiple locations from the Perth CBD to the windswept dunes of Lancelin. It’s a smooth and well-considered piece from the artist, and was a sizeable accomplishment despite it looking and sounding eloquently effortless.
“It was a long and stressful process but we got it done and it came out amazing, thanks to Rakib,” says Rosel.
The song Nightfall was the work of Perth producer Uncle Sam after being recorded at Shakedown Studios in Warwick. The track features Rosel himself alongside rising Perth singer Corey Holland. “His vocals are sensational,” says Rosel, while also noting that “he’s the tall guy” for those watching at home.
