RNB Fridayz Live class of 2023 revealed
RNB Fridayz Live is back for its sixth edition this year, hitting Perth’s HBF Park on Saturday, November 11.
Returning for an unforgettable night of dance floor anthems and the icons behind them, Fridayz Live 2023 has announced 10 of the biggest household names of old school and contemporary RNB and hip-hop including Jason Derulo, Boyz II Men, Flo Ria, Kelly Rowland and more.
With 250 million singles sold worldwide and 20 multi-platinum singles, including Talk Dirty feat. 2 Chainz, Want You To Want Me and Whatcha Say, international chart-topper Jason Derulo sits atop a stacked line-up this year. The fourth most-followed male on TikTok boasting an average of 10 million views per post, his 2022 summer smash Slidin, proved yet again he has a knack for laying undeniably catchy melodies on top of fun, upbeat productions.
Billboard Magazine’s biggest boyband consecutively from 1987 to 2012, vocal powerhouse group Boyz II Men – Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman – are known best for their emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies. The four-time Grammy award winners gained international success with 1992 single, End of the Road which set a new record holding the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks.
Record-breaking multi-platinum rapper Flo Rida will be hitting the Fridayz Live stage this November in his first Australian shows in years. The Grammy nominee has sold over 100 million singles worldwide and is set to perform some of his biggest hits including Low feat. T-Pain, Wild Ones feat. Sia, Right Round feat. Ke$ha, and more.
Four-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, best-selling author and executive producer Kelly Rowland is a global pop superstar. On her own, she is a Platinum-certified recording artist with over 40 million records sold, but she’s also known all over the world as a founding member of Destiny’s Child, having grown up in the spotlight while in one of the best-selling female groups of all time.
Chart-topper, award-winning singer, songwriter and actress JoJo will make her Fridayz Live debut this November. Rising to fame at just 13 years old with her 2004 debut self-titled studio album, JoJo will perform some of her biggest hits like Leave (Get Out), Too Little Too Late and No Apologies and more.
RNB Fridayz Live will also feature performances from 112, Baby Bash, Travie McCoy, Havana Brown and Naughty By Nature (DJ Set) while DJ YO! MAFIA will keeping the tradition spinning with the latest and greatest RNB hits in-between the live performances.
The event will be hosted by popular Aussie podcaster Abbie Chatfield and ‘International President of Party’ Fatman Scoop.
