If you’re not driven into a frenzy of self-loathing by the smooth, smooth sounds of Just A Gent or UV boi, you might want to check out Young Franco at Ginger Bar this Friday, November 7. Mondo have a habit of announcing incredible acts just before they play, and this week the Brisbane disco-funk-house maestro (who just turned 20, thank God) is taking the reins. It’s not his first Mondo foray – he played here in July – and, given how accomplished his debut EP was, it’ll be worth heading down. Tickets on the door from 10pm with support from Meina, Ol Mate Pierce, Bunj and Nat Daws.
