Peter Hook and The Light celebrate 25 years of Get Ready with Australian tour

Peter Hook and his band The Light are returning to Australia in celebration of the 25th anniversary of New Order‘s Get Ready and its hits Crystal and 60 Miles An Hour.

The tour will kick off in Adelaide and hit Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney before wrapping up at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Monday, July 20.

The founding bassist of New Order and Joy Division is meticulous in the reimagination of their music, performing the treasured catalogues with the passion and energy they deserve.

Get Ready was the English rock band’s seventh studio album, which hit #7 on the ARIA charts upon its release and was #8 for Billboard’s US Top Dance-Electronic Albums of 2001. With Hook’s New Order set, fans can also expect to hear Ceremony, Bizarre Love Triangle, True Faith, Temptation, Blue Monday and more.

They will also perform a selection of Joy Division hits, including Disorder, She’s Lost Control, Shadowplay, Transmission, Atmosphere, Love Will Tear Us Apart and more.
