Perth Symphony Orchestra’s Electric Symphony set to ignite the city this weekend
Perth Symphony Orchestra (PSO) will light up QV1 Plaza on Saturday, November 29, for their Grand Finale performance for 2025.
The full-scale, multi-sensory celebration will see Perth’s iconic plaza transformed into a festival-style symphonic experience.
Curated by PSO Creative Director Fiona Campbell OAM, the night will unfold across three acts, from orchestral power to acrobatic spectacle.
Act I: Sparkling Symphony features PSO’s 22-piece orchestra and guest soloists, including Australian Idol’s Gisella Colletti, Matt Milford, Sara Duhig, Jordan Anthony and Amy Ehlers, starting the festivities with retro anthems and sing-along favourites.
Electric quartet INNEKA, all-female ensemble GLAM, drag star Dean Misdale, and burlesque sensation Matt Pope all star in Act II: After Dark Spectacle.
Act III: Fred Again… with Strings Attached sees PSO collide with DJ Shann to reimagine Fred Again’s most iconic tracks.
Beyond the main stage, the night will be fuelled by roaming performers, ambient pop-ups, spritz bars, cocktails, and more.
“Electric Symphony is all about breaking down walls,” said Fiona Campbell. “We’re taking orchestral music out of the concert hall and into the heart of the city, where it collides with DJs, cabaret, drag, and everything in between. It’s bold, it’s playful, and it’s completely alive.”
PSO’s Grand Finale Electric Symphony hits QV1 Plaza on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Tickets are on sale now from perthsymphony.com
