Perth newcomers girl shaped gun to unleash debut EP at Lynott’s Lounge

Perth indie rock and surf pop newcomers girl shaped gun are set to launch their debut self-titled EP at Lynott’s Lounge on Friday, December 29. The five-piece, who formed in mid-2023, will be joined by special guests Safari, Darling Strangers, Teenage Vertigo, and Asparagus Soop.

Featuring the tracks denim jacket, try, and beach house, the EP was recorded at Vision Studios and was produced by drummer Joash Graham.

“The EP is all about having that hot girl summer,” said the band upon announcing the gig. “The one where you can look back from time to time and remember those memories through a low-fi insta filter.”
