Japanese post-rock kings MONO have announced an Australian and New Zealand tour in December this year in support of 2014’s The Last Dawn and Rays Of Darkness Being. Compared to contemporaries like Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky and Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Mono have been praised endlessly for their extraterrestrial and intense doomsday instrumentals, with Kerrang! labelling them as ‘One of the most consistently perfect bands in post-rock’ and NME dubbing them ‘music for the gods.’
