After a quiet year in purposeful hiatus, MOANA have emerged from the depths of the studio to present us with new music in the form of Scarab, the first single from their upcoming debut album.
“It’s been a year of many changes within the band. A lot of quiet contemplation, experimentation, learning and recuperating. A year of chaos, heartbreak, intensity and travel that will all explode energetically and lyrically in this album. We are more excited than ever to be releasing new music. It’s going to be a big year” states singer Moana Lutton.
Scarab was recorded at Blackbird studios with Mitch McDonald (The Love Junkies).
MOANA launched the single online and will be celebrating with an official release party and music video launch on Friday, February 24 at the iconic Northbridge venue Jack Rabbit Slim’s.
