Rockingham’s own Matt Gresham is set to bring his captivating voice, tender songwriting and supreme musicianship to the Astor Theatre on Friday, March 19. After several years of building his name internationally, the event will be the first chance for local fans to catch some of Matt Gresham’s latest tunes live on stage.
The WAMI, ARIA award-winning and seven-time nominee Gresham, has been playing and writing music for Major Australian and International artists, including LA songwriter Jaymes Young, New York rapper Talib Kweli and touring internationally with Guy Sebastian.
With a heavy focus on passionate songs which will make you want to dance, Gresham’s music is an eclectic mix of pop, acoustic, trap, blues, hip hop and jazz. Using his music to help make sense of his life, Gresham’s simple yet powerful songs are built around dynamics, momentum and hope.
Matt Gresham will perform with his full band, with special support from fellow local star Chris Murphy.
