Maylands venue Lyric Lane is turning two and is celebrating with a huge weekend of live music. Being born shortly prior to a global pandemic isn’t the most ideal kick off for a live music venue, but they have survived and have come out on top, so it’s time to celebrate!
Friday, November 12 is dedicated to Lyric’s Underground with a cracker lineup of The Volcanics, Huge Magnet, Paige McNaught Experience, Lonesome Dove and The Little Lord Street Band.
Saturday, November 13, is up on the ground floor at Lyric’s Bar and will be host to the Laneway Party, back for its fourth edition. Catch live performances by The Community Chest, Dolce Blue, Wayward Johnson & The Adjustment and Axel Carrington from 3-7pm then DJ Holly Doll will be spinning tunes from 7pm. This is a free family event with kids and doggos welcome.
Lyric’s Bar on the ground level is the ideal place to enjoy a meal and drinks before heading to Lyric’s Underground in the basement to catch a show at their purposely designed, WAM Award-winning live music room. Lyric’s Underground has had a great run of sold-out shows and has hosted performances from music legends Kim Salmon, Steve Kilbey, Rob Snarski and many more.
Lyric’s Lane will celebrate its 2nd Birthday on the weekend of Friday, November 12, and Saturday, November 13. For more information check out the Facebook events for Friday and Saturday. Tickets to the Friday show are available through Oztix.
