Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has announced an Australian tour for next year. The highly-anticipated shows will see Capaldi perform in arenas across the country, including Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. The news comes after Capaldi revealed his new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent will be released on Friday, May 19, 2023 on EMI Records.
Capaldi’s Australian tour dates will be his first performances down under since early 2020, when he instantly sold out his headline shows and played at Falls Festival across the country. His 2023 tour will see him arrive with a host of new songs to perform from the new album, alongside crowd favourites.
Capaldi returned with fresh music in September with new single Forget Me, marking his third consecutive UK No. 1 hit and giving fans a taste of new music to come. The new record follows on from his 2019 full-length debut, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent — which peaked at #7 on the ARIA Albums Chart and featured the hit singles Someone You Loved and Before You Go.
Prior to the tour, Lewis Capaldi will visit Australia in November to co-host the 2022 ARIA Awards.
Lewis Capaldi’s new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent is out Friday, May 19, 2023. Lewis Capaldi plays RAC Arena on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 28, 2022, from scrtsnds.com/LewisCapaldiTour
