Katie Noonan takes on Jeff Buckley’s Grace in national tour

Queensland singer-songwriter Katie Noonan will bring her interpretation of Jeff Buckley’s album, Grace, on a national tour across Australia this spring.

Following five sold-out shows at Sydney Festival, where she debuted her take on the album, Noonan will embark on a 20-date run that kick starts at Astor Theatre on Thursday, September 18. Afterwards, the tour will cross over to major cities such as Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle, along with regional centres such as Launceston, Geelong, Ballarat, Noosa, Birtinya and more.

Folk singer-songwriter Jack Carty will join Noonan as a special guest for all SA, WA, TAS, QLD, ACT, and NSW (except Albury) shows.

“In 1994, Jeff Buckley’s seminal debut album Grace was released into the world. I was 17 and never had I heard a sound world like this,” said Noonan. “This album is the single biggest influence on my musical journey… and in the 30th anniversary of Grace, I am honoured to present this body of work with some of my favourite musicians and pay homage to a life-changing album and a truly once-in-a-lifetime artist.”
