After making his mark as an award-winning and hugely successful stand-up comedian and television panellist, Thomas turned his hand to writing, acting and producing his own television show for ABC TV. Inspired by his life and his comedy, Please Like Me is now streamable on Netflix. The show has won numerous awards, including AACTA, Logie and AWGIE awards in Australia and was nominated as Best Comedy at the International Emmy Awards, Rose d’Or Awards and GLAAD Media Awards.
