Following his cover version of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit at triple j’s recent Beat The Drum concert Daniel Johns continues to polarise his fanbase – or that of Silverchair’s – with the unveiling this morning of his new single, Aerial Love. The song is from an EP release scheduled for March, to be followed by a full album later in the year. It’s eight years since Silverchair’s last album, Young Modern, but Johns has been writing and recording pretty much non-stop for the last few years. Here’s the song…
