Japanese pop-punk legends Shonen Knife return

Japanese pop-punk legends Shonen Knife have today announced their return to Australia for a national tour, hitting Milk Bar on Wednesday, October 21.

The shows are set to celebrate their re-recorded album Let’s Knife: Re-Cut, which re-presents the album that established the band’s popularity over thirty years ago.

The Japanese rockers were once famously referred to as Kurt Cobain’s “favourite band”, when he asked them to tour with Nirvana and the ensemble has continued to rock for over 45 years, currently supporting Men At Work on their American tour.

The tour kicks off in Melbourne before a collection of gigs across Ballarat, Hobart, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Alice Springs, Canberra, Sydney, Bathurst and Newcastle.
