Inspiral Carpets announce Greatest Hits Tour of Australia

Legendary Manchester band Inspiral Carpets have announced they are heading to Australia on a Greatest Hits Tour, hitting Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, July 29.

Their Greatest Hits set list will include This Is How It Feels, indie-dancefloor banger Dragging Me Down, Two Worlds Collide, She Comes in the Fall, Joe, Saturn 5 and more.

“It will be a celebration of the music we created, which has brought so much joy to people over the last 34 years,” said the band upon revealing the news.

Formed in Oldham in 1980, Inspiral Carpets were part of the late-1980s/early-1990s Madchester movement along with the Stone Roses, Charlatans, Happy Mondays and James. The tour will be their first time in Australia since 1993.
