Indie-popper Romanie announces tour with a twist
Melbourne-based pop artist Romanie is set to bring her national headline tour to The Bird on Saturday, September 19.
Adding a unique twist, she will co-write and rehearse a song with support act Angie Colman the night before the show, performing it live for audiences at the Perth show.
This quirky collaboration concept was first tried with Clover Blue at the Brunswick Music Festival earlier this year, where they created and performed an original song, Cameron Winter Eats Pigeons, entirely within 24 hours.
Romanie’s debut album, It’s Not That Funny, released in February, reached number 14 on the Australian ARIA album charts and secured her a second nomination for an Australian Music Prize.
Romanie’s It’s Not That Funny Tour lands at The Bird on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Tickets are available now from romaniemusic.com
