Music Feedback features a series of interviews with local and international musicians, where young people ask them about their experiences with mental health. The project aims to remove any stigma about seeking help and to make it easier for youth to open up about their issues. This year, Music Feedback features Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Mama Kin, Lionizer and Geoffrey James. The Music Feedback project DVD/CD and online videos will be launched as part of Mental Health Week, from October 5-12, including a regional event on October 8 in Bunbury.
YACWA will print 20,000 copies of the videos, which will be distributed at youth centres and festivals. They will also be launched online. The Music Feedback project is funded by the WA Mental Health Commission. For more information, see www.facebook.com/musicfeedbackoz
