Hellbound sets sail with the first-ever Australian metal cruise
Australia’s first-ever heavy music cruise, Hellbound, is ready to set sail with a stacked Australian heavy music line-up in 2026.
Boarding in Sydney on Thursday, October 22, and returning on Sunday, October 25, the cruise will serve as a unique three-night metal festival filled with live music, mosh pits, themed parties, DJ sets, and artist hangouts across multiple decks.
Promoted by Choose Your Cruise and Destroy All Lines, the event will be headlined by Australian metal titans Parkway Drive (pictured), following a sold-out orchestral show at the Sydney Opera House. They will be joined by Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect, Make Them Suffer, In Hearts Wake, Windwaker, Belle Haven, Diamond Construct, Future Static, Reliqa and more.
Also on board are cinema-core upstarts The Gloom in the Corner, alt-rock powerhouses The Beautiful Monument, Japan/US tour veterans Bloom, Perth rock soloist CHEZ, and deathcore activists To The Grave.
Keeping the momentum high between sets will be Taking Back Saturday DJs, with crowd control courtesy of MC and stage host MANOV.
“We have talked about launching a metal cruise for many years, and the Choose Your Cruise team is thrilled to finally bring this vision to life,” said Choose Your Cruise Joint CEO Marius Els. “We’re excited to add Hellbound to our line-up of successful cruise brands, and we have the perfect ship to deliver an unforgettable experience.”
Hellbound sails from Sydney from Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25, 2026. Tickets are on sale now from daltours.cc/Hellbound
