Good Day Sunshine Festival brings all-star line-up to the South West
Good Day Sunshine music festival returns this spring, taking over Gloucester Park in Margaret River on Saturday, November 29.
The festival has followed on from a successful sold-out event last year with a line-up starring The Teskey Brothers, Boy & Bear, Meg Mac, The Beautiful Girls, Charlie Collins, Dear Sunday, Carla Geneve and Tanya Ransom.
Led by brothers Sam and Josh, The Teskey Brothers‘ electrifying seven-piece soul ensemble has captivated global audiences with appearances at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Austin City Limits and more. With chart-topping albums and multiple ARIA Awards to their name, the brothers return to WA following sold-out headline shows across Europe, the UK and North America.
Fifteen years into their stellar career, Boy & Bear (pictured) remain one of Australia’s most beloved live acts. With five ARIA Awards, five Top 10 albums, and multiple Platinum sales, the five-piece arrive with fresh material from their 2023 self-titled album.
Since emerging via triple j’s unearthed, Meg Mac has released three killer albums, the latest of which, 2022’s Matter Of Time, made it to #1 on the ARIA Charts. The powerhouse vocalist arrives with a decade of soul-pop hits, including Roll Up Your Sleeves, Never Be, Low Blows and more.
Led by Mat McHugh, The Beautiful Girls have earned a massive global following with their laid-back, coastal sound and hits like Ashes and Let’s Take the Long Way Home from their five acclaimed albums to date.
Charlie Collins, a rising star in Australia with recent hits like Rock Bottom and Transactional Deal, will be joining the festival headliners. She will be joined by WA indie-pop duo Dear Sunday and WAM Award-winning alt-rock artist Carla Geneve, while Broome singer-songwriter Tanya Ransom will open the festival with her unique blend of alt-country, folk and blues.
