Having spent the last three years building a large and loyal fanbase and testing the waters with an excellent EP – which you can download for free here – local heavy hitters Sensory Amusia are finally letting their debut album, Disrepair, off the leash. Clocking in at 10 tracks and 42 minutes, it’s a concentrated dose of the band’s signature technically accomplished, heavy, aggressive sound.
The album launches over two nights, first at Amplifier Bar on Friday, October 25, with support from Ballarat’s The Hazard Circular, Advent Sorrow and Darkenium; then at The Beat Nightclub with The Hazard Circular and Animistic. In between the two, they’ll be putting on an all ages gig at HQ Leederville on Saturday, October 26, at 1pm, alongside The Hazard Circular, Animistic, Reflections Of ruin and Xenobiotic.
