For the Jumper footy fundraiser bounces down for second year

Live music and football will come together again for Perth’s second-ever For the Jumper fundraising event, taking over Rosemount Hotel on Grand Final Eve, Friday, September 25.

After the success of the Perth debut last year, 18 AFL teams will compete, represented by 18 bands with two songs to perform each.

Following a decade-long tradition set originally in Melbourne, the performance order on the night is based on the team’s finishing position on the ladder, starting with the bottom team and building up to a top-of-the-table showdown.

The first bounce is set for 7:30pm, with the 2026 edition featuring a dream team of Perth bands refereed by MC Axel Carrington, who will antagonise rivalries and test their footy knowledge.

Presented by RTRFM, Rosemount Hotel and Auxiliary Records, all proceeds from the event will go to Reclink WA and Synapse Australia.
