Born Sandy brings the sounds of WA to Freo.Social

A new homegrown event, Born Sandy, is set to celebrate Western Australian music at Freo.Social on Friday, August 28.

The inaugural event will bring together a mix of established acts and emerging selectors for a single evening show.

The night includes performances from RTRFM Full Frequency presenter and DJ Rok Riley, who has been playing records in Boorloo for 20 years. Joining Riley behind the decks will be Ningaloo Records, who are returning back home with fresh crates from an East Coast tour.

Garage rock band Doctopus will bring their four-album catalogue to the stage, while indie rockers New Nausea and alt-folk act Symmetrical Dogs will also perform on the night.
