Footy fundraiser For The Jumper kicks off in Perth debut

For The Jumper, a show combining live music, comedy, and football is set to kick off in Perth ahead of the AFL grand final this month. Running for over a decade in Melbourne, this will be the event’s first time on the west coast when it bounces down at Rosemount Hotel on Friday, September 26.

The night will consist of 18 bands, each representing one of the AFL’s 18 teams. Each act will perform their club’s theme song along with related parodies or tunes, with the lineup order being the 2025 ladder finishing positions, starting with the bottom team all the way to the top.

Local musicians set to feature on the night include Sgt Hulka, Sean Pollard (Split Seconds), Michael Savage (The Little Lord St Band), The Tigers, Airline Food and Axel Carrington (New Talk)—who will also play host as MC on the evening.

A collaboration between RTRFM and the Rosemount Hotel, all the proceeds from the event will go to Reclink WA and Synapse Australia.
