EMF announce string of headline shows for an ‘Unbelievable’ Australian tour
British nineties dance-rock band EMF are set to tour Australia for the first time in thirty years, with a run of headline shows this year.
The five-piece will kick off the tour at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, July 30, before hitting Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne.
The tour will bring a mixture of old and new songs to entertain their Australian fans, including their hit 1991 single, Unbelievable, alongside their hits I Believe and Children from their debut album Schubert Dip. Fans can also expect newer material with their 2024 releases, Hello People and Reach for the Lasers.
EMF first came to prominence at the beginning of the 1990s, with an initial eight-year run from 1989 to 1997, during which the band released three studio albums before going on hiatus. Unbelievable reached number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, whilst their album Schubert Dip went to number 3 on the UK Albums Chart. In April 2022, EMF released their first album of new material, Go Go Sapiens, in 27 years.
EMF hit Astor Theatre on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Tickets are on sale now from gaevents.au
