Metalheads Unite!!!…mark your calendars and brace yourselves for one almighty glorious night of metal. It has been announced that our favourite metal heavyweight Devin Townsend is returning with his Devin Townsend Project to Australia and New Zealand for a run of shows that are not to be missed.
To celebrate the release of the new album Transcendence the band have announced a nationwide tour in May 2017. Surprisingly it hasn’t been too long for Devin Townsend to return with project who graced us with sold-out shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane back in 2015; Sadly Perth fans did miss out, however, this time they have not been forgotten (hooray!!)….expect for Adelaide (sorry guys). The Perth show will be on Friday, May 26 and Capitol.
With the project forming in 2009, already on album no.7 (impressive right?) and Townsend’s career spanning over 20 years, the shows are expected to feature new tracks and tracks from the extensive back catalogue that are sure to make one memorable night.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale on Wednesday, November 16 from 10am and general sale will be Friday, November 18 from mjrpresents.com.
