DAAS Back from the brink

The Doug Anthony All Stars show is returning after a false start in May – due to a band member’s ill-fated appendix – bring their brand new show to Perth, Albany and Geraldton this October 24-28.

They will play Albany Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, October 24, Queens Park Theatre, Geraldton on Thursday October 26 and two shows in the city centre at the State Theatre Centre of WA on Friday October 27 and Saturday October 28.

Paul McDermott said he and original bandmate Tim Ferguson, plus mentor Paul ‘Flacco’ Livingston, come with fresh targets for their musical comedy, including the NDIS, treatment of refugees and themselves.

“This show for us is really next level shit; we’re not pussy footing around any more,” said McDermott.

After reforming in 2013, D.A.A.S. have been taking on the world with sold out shows across the country, as well as doing huge shows at Edinburgh Fringe, and receiving 2016’s coveted Spirit of the Fringe Award.
