Courtyard Club returns with free music and Friday night fun

RTRFM’s Courtyard Club is back, taking over the State Theatre Centre of WA courtyard for four weeks of free live music, DJs and post-work fun every Friday evening from November 13 to December 4.

Presented in partnership with Arts and Culture Trust WA, the popular series returns for its 13th year, offering the perfect spot to catch up with friends and kick-start the weekend with performances from some of Perth’s best local bands and DJs.

Kicking off on Friday, November 13, from 5pm, the opening night features Perth party favourites Didion’s Bible and rock ’n’ rollers Unicorn, followed by a DJ set from Lachy and Conor of Out to Lunch.

The following weeks will showcase Daniel Susnjar’s new jazz supergroup Brightside, the country sounds of The Stumblers and the alt-country lyricism of Angie Colman.

The series wraps up on Friday, December 4, in partnership with North Metropolitan TAFE, featuring performances from emerging bands Freddie & Mosia and Papa and the Cowboy.

Each live performance will be followed by DJ sets from some of the best selectors in town, including Arle (Global Rhythm Pot), Hannah and Kayli (Out to Lunch) and a special farewell set from Friday Drivetime DJ Vishnu, closing out the series.
