Coterie announce The Lush Leopard Regional Summer Tour

Perth-based, NZ-born band of brothers, Coterie, have just announced The Lush Leopard Regional Summer Tour, which includes 22 shows across Australia and New Zealand.

The tour includes WA dates at Froth Craft Brewery, Bunbury, on Friday, February 2; Indian Ocean Hotel, Scarborough, on Saturday, February 3; and The River, Margaret River, on Sunday, February 4.

WAM Song of the Year winners Dulcie will support Coterie for all three Western Australian dates, with Perth five-piece South Summit joining them for the Scarborough and Margaret River shows, and Sophian joining them for the Bunbury show.

Coterie have been making headlines since their breakout hit Cool It Down reached the #1 spot on the New Zealand Music Charts in 2022, becoming the #1 Most Shazammed song in the country for over three months. To date the band has garnered over 30 million streams, achieved one platinum and four NZ Gold records, and received five award nominations at this year’s Waiata Maori Music Awards.

Their success has led to back-to-back sold-out tours alongside renowned acts such as Six60, Lime Cordiale, The Cat Empire and Sublime across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

“We’ve been jamming in our parent’s garage our whole lives, so it’s crazy to see our live shows get this much support from the fans,” said lead vocalist Tyler Fisher about the upcoming tour. “At the end of the day, we’re just local boys making music for our mates to vibe to!”

“But we also wanted to keep this tour feeling local,” added youngest brother and guitarist Conrad Fisher, “so we’ve stayed away from major cities this time around and stuck to the beaches and lakes.”

At the end of 2022, Coterie released their debut self-titled album, featuring previous singles Killing It Off, West Coast Drive, Deja Vu, and their Six60 collab Always Beside You. Singles from the album have received widespread support from triple j, triple j Unearthed, Double J, Spotify, NME and more.
