Award-winning Perth troupe Champagne Showgirls have announced their new show Cabaret Cheek, a modern version of cabaret and burlesque, showcasing a tantalising splash of dance, circus and live music. The show has been described as “a journey throughout history, flaunting the old with the new, in a spectacular array of glitz and glamour,” and it hits Air Nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights across the two weekends of October 1-2 and October 8-9.
Cabaret Cheek offers a variety of performances, with a multi-talented cast such as Matilda Simcock and her right hand man, Jayden Blockley on the saxophone, as Champagne Showgirls shift the scene from long-standing tradition to contemporary burlesque in a seven act spectacular.
Champagne Showgirls are winners of “Australia’s Best Burlesque Production 2020” (X AWARDS) and were voted “The Best Cabaret and variety show” in Fringe World 2021.
