Local punk act Burning Fiction hit Babushka in Leederville this Saturday night. The five-piece have built a reputation across Perth for their energetic live shows that have gone from strength to strength since putting out their first album in 2009.
You can also catch the shoegaze-pop of JOYS, the blistering hooks of The Damn Spirits and sludge-punk trio Rockefeller CC in a night that promises plenty of good tunes and good vibes for all.
Last year’s album Contrasts was their best work yet, displaying a cleaner and more defined sound still packed with their classic catchy melodies throughout. While Contrasts has come to feature strongly in their live shows, fans can expect a few fresh numbers and some older favourites from their growing catalogue.
