KING PARROT | PSYCROPTIC | REVOCATION | WHORETOPSY | BLACK RHENO
Over the past couple of years the music festival scene has taken a bit of a dive and looking a little bleak. Sadly we’ve had to say ‘farewell’ to Soundwave, Big Day Out and Future Music; even worse having some festivals not make it at all (R.I.P Legion). However, there is good news to be had, and best of all it involves metal. Direct Touring and New World Artists announced the debut of…*drum roll*… The Thrash, Blast and Grind Fest which will kick off around Australia and New Zealand in February 2017.
The festival is headlined by none other than King Parrot (you’re welcome) who’ll be playing alongside Tasmania’s very own Psycroptic, US heavyweights Revocation, Whoretopsy (Melbourne) and Sydney’s Black Rheno.
To make matters more awesome local bands from each state will be the opening act for this jaw dropping metal festival that is sure to create some memorable moments. Tickets are now available from Direct Touring and for more information you check out each of the bands Facebook pages to keep up to date with everything you need/want to know. In the meantime get prepared, gather any metal festival essentials and most importantly stay metal.
The THRASH, BLAST AND GRIND Festival will hit Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Saturday, February 18, 2016.
