FENDER ROADSHOW ROLLS AROUND AGAIN
It’s the event of the year for axemen both experienced and aspiring – the 2015 Fender Guitar & Amp Roadshow is coming to Perth once more, this year at the State Theatre Centre’s Studio Underground on Thursday, May 5. Not only will you get a chance to view and paw all the latest gear from Fender, but master guitarist Greg Koch and band will spend a good two hours showing how to get the best out of it. If you’ve got something to say, the 2015 Totally Huge New Music Festival Symposium wants to hear from you. Coinciding with the launch of the Western Australian New Music Archive at the State Library Of Western Australia on Wednesday, May 20, the symposium will focus on the theme, Western Australian Art Music Activity: 1970 – 2014. Papers and panel proposals about WA music, performers, composers, writers, events and organisations are especially sought.
