RTRFM Spring a new festival on Fremantle


RTRFM
has announced a brand new festival set to take over the heart of the port city on Saturday, October 13. The Fremantle Spring Music Festival will take place at new local music venue Rock Rover at the South Fremantle Football Club and the newly revamped The Aardvark downstairs at the Norfolk Hotel.

Rock Rover will feature local favourites Superego (fka POW! Negro), the mesmerising drone of Mt. Mountain, the raucous energy of Doctopus and the smooth neo soul of Shy Panther. Indie wunderkids Figurehead will also be taking to the stage in the Bulldogs’ clubrooms while the community station’s brand new breakfast presenter DJ Taylah Strano will be on the decks between the bands.

Down the road The Aardvark catch Your Girl Pho, beat tape wonders Butter, the folk pop of Man Sandal, the electro thrill ride of Zàn and the songwriting wonder of Bri Clark. All ticket sales help to keep RTRFM on air and supporting local, independent music and arts.

The Fremantle Spring Music Festival takes place at Rock Rover and The Aardvark on Saturday, October 13, from 7pm-12am. Pre-sale tickets are available from Oztix now.
