POND Collide with Freo.Social

Homegrown wunderkinds Pond have announced a one-off show at Freo.Social on Saturday, April 4. Joining them will be Australian indie rockers (and recent additions to the Spinning Top roster) Children Collide. This intimate show is set to be Pond’s last hometown performance before they head back into the studio to work on their much anticipated ninth album.

Pond had a pretty big 2019, releasing one of their best albums to date, Tasmania, which debuted at #15 on the ARIA Album chart. The group also had a big 12 months for touring. Most recently they joined Mac De Marco around Australia (playing their cover of Madonna’s Ray of Light), they toured their own album both nationally and internationally, and played Splendour In The Grass.

Children Collide have been a staple of Australian indie rock since their debut album in 2008. Last year saw them release the single Aurora, their first new music in seven years. The group has also announced a new album which is set to come out early this year.

Tasmania is out now. Pond and Children Collide play Freo.Social on Saturday, April 4. Tickets from www.pondband.net.
