Channel Seven Mandurah Crab Fest
is the largest free community event in Western Australia, attracting over 100,000 locals and visitors to Mandurah’s Eastern Foreshore for 20 years now. The event showcases the lifestyle, location, culture and talent that makes Mandurah so unique and, of course, a celebration of their most famous native, the Blue Manna crab!

There will also be performances, children’s entertainment, competitions, cooking demonstrations, celebrities, and aquatic entertainment.

Montaigne starred as a guest vocalist on Hilltop Hoods double platinum No. 2 hit 1955, and sold out national tours appearing at a number of our nation’s favourite festivals including Groovin the Moo, Splendour in the Grass, Secret Garden and Woodford Folk Festival. She hits Mandurah Crab Fest following the release of her acclaimed new single For Your Love, released in November 2018 and comes ahead of a new album scheduled for later this year.

With five acclaimed top 10 albums, four ARIA Awards and countless sold out tours to his name, Josh Pyke has firmly established himself as one of the most respected and beloved artists in Australia. His appearance at Mandurah Crab Fest follows the release of Best Of Josh Pyke, B Sides and Rarities compilation in 2017, that features the full breadth of Pyke’s evocative, intelligent lyrics and intricate melodies. Pyke has achieved a longevity that is rare in music by balancing both joy and melancholy, reflecting on the ebb and flow of time to evoke nostalgia without being overly sentimental.  “There’s so much stuff that’s intensely personal that’s tied up in every song. It’s like a diary for me but I’ve tried to write songs in a universal way so other people wouldn’t necessarily see that,” Pyke said in his interview with X-Press in 2017.

Mandurah Crab Fest goes down at Mandurah’s Eastern Foreshore with special performances from Montaigne on Saturday, March 16 and Josh Pyke on Sunday, March 17.
