ALBUMS YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT This week

This week, the album news you need comes from Muse, The Twilight Sad, and yes, Tenacious D.

Muse have been dropping a whole bunch of singles lately, and have finally announced that they are from the upcoming album, Simulation Theory, the follow up to 2015’s Drones. The album features recent singles Thought Contagion, Something Human and Dig Down as well as the new track, The Dark Side. The album is out November 9. Listen to The Dark Side below.

The Twilight Sad have released a new single Videograms and announced that their fifth album It Won/t Be Like This All The Time will be out January 18. The new LP also includes the song I/m Not Here [missing face]. The band are said to have gotten advice from The Cure‘s Robert Smith on the album : “We sent him the demoes for the album and he sent them all back with a mark out of ten,” frontman James Graham told NME earlier this summer. “He was like ‘7/10, but could be a nine if you do this’.” Listen to Videograms below.

Jack Black’s Tenacious D have announced that their new album, Post-Apocalypto will be out on November 2. The album features Foo Fighters‘ Dave Grohl on drums and will be accompanied by an animated series. The album is set to feature 21 tracks. This follows 2012’s Rize of the Fenix.
