York Festival unveils 2024 jazz program
York Festival is set to revive its jazz program this year, hosting performances over two weekends at The Rookery and The Imperial Homestead in York from Friday, September 20, to Sunday, September 29.
Curated by the Perth International Jazz Festival, the program will celebrate music, arts, and community with performances by Perth-based guitarist and composer Dan Garner, vocalist Holli Scott, horn player Ricki Malet, and local artist Simon Charles.
The program will also feature the Silver Sands Guitar Quartet and a rare performance by The Stromatolites. Folk artist Melody Pool will join the line-up as part of her world tour, showcasing her new single, Changing.
Now in its eighth year, York Festival is an annual celebration of cultural and community spirit for Western Australia’s oldest inland town. More than just music, the festival also features theatre, family activities, workshops and more.
