Yomi Ship announce debut album Feast Eternal
Perth post-rock trio Yomi Ship will celebrate the release of their debut album, Feast Eternal, with a launch show at Rosemount Hotel on Friday, June 28.
Recorded and mixed at Studio Sleepwalker’s Dread in 2023, Feast Eternal is the culmination of Yomi Ship’s evolution since their inception in 2016. From ambient and melodic passages to powerful prog rock sections filled with unusual time signatures and polyrhythms, the record explores realms both familiar and otherworldly across 12 tracks.

“We are so thrilled to finally share with you our upcoming album," said the band upon announcing the news. “We’ve experimented far and wide with different sounds and instruments on this record, creating a concept album from start to finish. The concept allows the listener to traverse their way through the underworld of Yomi, encountering the various spirits that live within."

Yomi Ship’s launch show comes fresh off a national tour with Australian prog-rock legends Cog, and ahead of a trip to the UK to play at Arctangent Festival in August.
