Western Sydney drill masters Onefour bring The Get Back Tour to WA

Sydney hip-hop group Onefour have announced a tour of Australia and New Zealand this year. The Get Back Tour kicks off in Melbourne and lands at Metropolis Fremantle on Friday, July 5 before hitting stages in Brisbane, Adelaide, Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.

Hailing from the Western Sydney suburb of Mount Druitt, Onefour started out as four Samoan-Australians making drill rap in a studio behind a fridge supply store.

Their raw stories of crime, poverty and social dislocation instantly won them fans across the country, but their breakthrough was set back by controversy and police targeting. Since their first sold-out tour was cancelled, a hit Netflix documentary about their struggles only served to galvanise their sense of defiance.

The group’s latest single Freedom of Speech marks Onefour’s return as a trio, and that they are more determined than ever to amplify the honest outer-Sydney voices that are often absent from mainstream music.

Onefour will be supported by Tasmania/Lutruwita rap up-and-comer Miss Kaninna, and Western Sydney drill artists RFA17 and LF70.
