Birds Of Tokyo spent 2014 based in LA, playing shows all over America, and writing four new songs. To be released on a standalone EP, Anchor, these four songs are the group’s postcards to home, a tribute to being a long way from home, and the perspective gained by distance. Since returning to Australia a few months ago, the band now have over 30 new songs in the works towards a new album next year. Anchor EP will be released Friday, April 24, and you can see Birds Of Tokyo in their only Perth performance for their Anchor Tour at State of the Art 2015, Saturday, May 30, at the Perth Cultural Centre.
