WAM’s annual Song of the Year competition returns

Applications for WAM’s annual Song of the Year competition presented by Act Belong Commit are now open.

Entries are open to WA songwriters and artists of all ages and levels, who have written a song between March 2023 and February 2024. Entrants must have been residing in WA for the majority of the past 12 months.

There are 17 categories to enter songs into, with winners receiving a share of up to $45k worth of prizes, including recording time, industry and cash prizes.

Previous WAM Song of the Year winners include Dulcie (check out last year’s winning song, Test Drive, below), Dr Tasty, Siobhan Cotchin and Carla Geneve.
