WAAPA’s & Juliet comes alive this September
What if Juliet didn’t die at the end of Romeo and Juliet?
That’s the question posed by & Juliet, the international smash-hit musical that reimagines Shakespeare’s heroine as she takes control of her own story in a celebration of self-discovery, second chances and finding one’s own voice.
Perth audiences will get the opportunity to experience the production when West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) bring it to life on stage at Regal Theatre from Friday, September 11, to Thursday, September 17.
A combination of Schitt’s Creek writer David West Read‘s script and a soundtrack of pop classics by Max Martin (Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys), the production will be performed by third-year WAAPA students and directed by Alastair Knights.
& Juliet hits the Regal Theatre from Friday, September 11, to Thursday, September 17, 2026. Tickets are on sale now from ticketek.com.au
