WA Youth Orchestra announce 50 year celebration concerts

WA Youth Orchestra is set to commemorate an illustrious 50 years with two special concerts featuring a selection of their most popular and renowned musical masterpieces.

Taking over Perth Concert Hall on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14, the concerts will include popular WAYO renditions of Maurice Ravel’s Boléro, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Ennio Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso, John Williams’ Jurassic Park and more.

The performances will feature conductors Peter Moore OAM and Tze Law Chan, with the WA Police Youth Band joining the celebrations as special guests for Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb’s Highland Cathedral.
