UK indie rockers James return down under

English rockers James are returning to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2018, performing their iconic album Laid in full amongst a set of their greatest hits and deep cuts. They will be joined by special guests Razorlight for all Australian dates.

The tour will kick off in Perth at Red Hill Auditorium on Thursday, October 8, and then move on to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.

Known for frontman Tim Booth’s enigmatic vocals and introspective lyrics, James achieved massive success with anthems including Sit Down, Getting Away With It (All Messed Up) and Laid. The band celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2023 and will release a documentary detailing their whole career directed by Chris Atkins this August.

Returning to Australia for their first tour in over 15 years, UK indie icons Razorlight are touring in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their 5 x Platinum self-titled album. With era‑shaping hits like America, In The Morning and Before I Fall To Pieces, the record made Razorlight one of the UK’s most successful guitar bands, and they went on to release three Top 5 albums, earn multiple Platinum certifications and win an NME Award.

James hit Red Hill Auditorium on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Tickets are on sale Thursday, July 2 from destroyalllines.com
