Tom Delonge of Blink 182 and Angels and Airwaves has just released his highly anticipated debut solo album, To The Stars…Demos, Odds And Ends, which has immediately climbed to number 1 on the Australian, UK and US iTunes Rock Charts.
The album features eight tracks, some of which have been dubbed as being Blink-182 demos, with An Endless Summer gaining the biggest response from fans via the musician’s Twitter page. The song is reminiscent of Blink-182’s hit Feeling This fused together with I-Empire era Angels and Airwaves.
Tracks Suburban Kings and Animals could have easily slotted onto a Blink-182 album, with the 39 year-old Delonge proving his cheeky, immature past is still well in tact with Golden Showers In The Golden State – after one listen you understand why, move over Happy Holidays, You Bastard.
Available now on iTunes, the video to track Circle-Jerk-Pit has also just dropped – resembling somewhat of a follow up to his Box Car Racer track My first punk song, with the video displaying vintage-styled footage of a group of punk teens skating in an empty pool, shotgunning beers, smoking and driving recklessly – welcome to ’90s-era California.
